Data stored on your device
Show files (.slate), preferences, and connection details (IP address, port, and PIN used to pair CueSurge Remote with your desktop) are stored locally on your own device. On iOS, pairing credentials live in the system Keychain via expo-secure-store. This information never leaves your device except to reach your own CueSurge desktop on your local network.
Network activity
CueSurge Remote communicates only with the CueSurge desktop IP address and port you enter during pairing. It does not contact CueSurge servers, Apple servers, or any other third party during normal operation. The CueSurge desktop itself connects to the internet only for optional features you enable (for example, downloading a Whisper voice model on first run, or making calls to an AI provider when you supply your own API key).
Optional integrations
If you choose to connect CueSurge to third-party services (such as Spotify for music playback, an AI provider for the show assistant, or a streaming platform for output), those services have their own privacy policies that govern the data you send to them. CueSurge acts only as a client on your behalf and does not proxy or store that traffic.
Children
CueSurge is a professional live-production tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change with it. Material changes will be announced on the CueSurge website.
